Watch Score: A Hockey Musical - Trailer!

Score: A Hockey Musical is following in some pretty amazing footsteps. "The Journals of Knud Rasmussen", "Fugitive Pieces", "Passchendaele" and "Creation. The Young Victoria" are the last 4 films to open the Toronto International Film Festival to critical and popular acclaim. And now Score is getting its chance on September 9, 2010 when it opens the festival.

There is a lot of buzz in Toronto for this movie and it could be a major player in the independent scene this winter.

There are cameos by ex-NHLer Theo Fleury, the world's most famous hockey dad Walter Gretzky and even a role for pop star Nelly Furtado.

Score: A Hockey Musical truly is a Canadian movie. There isn't anyone that will debate that. Including writer and director Michael McGowan who also penned and directed the Joshua Jackson film, One Week and called it his love letter to the country.

However, anyone who loves hockey and/ or musicals should be able to get into this movie. So, take a look at the trailer and the photos and get yourself ready for puck drop.
